Course description: The aim of this course is to allow people to work on timber projects by using our well equipped workshop at Lake Ginninderra. In the past we have catered for students who were just beginning to work with wood. We have started with small projects and then increased the skill level to cater for their increased experience. We also cater for people who are experienced in working with timber and want to use the comprehensive range of power tools and facilities that the workshop is able to offer. Click here for pictures. Click here for more pictures. Click here for Malcolm's latest project achievement. The course fee covers the use of the workshop including all tools, equipment, basic supplies (eg sandpaper, glue, nails etc). It does not cover timber or other materials (eg. glass, brass fittings, stain or estapol, etc.) required for your project.
