Materials list for BEGINNERS and INTERMEDIATE students.

Please bring the following items to the FIRST lesson.

Left-handed students should contact the tutor before purchasing nibs.

4 Speedball 'C' series nibs, sizes 0, 1, 2, 3 with nib holders.
A 2B pencil
A ruler, preferably 40cms long
An eraser or kneadable rubber
A bottle of Japanese NON-WATERPROOF ink, black, 180 cc size
A medium size glass jar
A small glass jar with TIGHTLY fitting lid
Small piece of old toweling
An old toothbrush
Small notebook
A pad of BLEEDPROOF paper. Check that you can see through the pages. A3 size

A 'drawing board' approx 600mm x 450mm x 10mm. Hardware stores have offcuts.

Calico for covering your board (Angela has a staple gun)
