Zumba Fitness is a cardio and dance workout, where we use many kinds of music from all over the world to fuse together a class that is so much fun its easy to forget that you're exercising. In this class, the teacher will provide both higher and lower intensity options where required, so if you need to tone it down a little you can, or if you want to step it up the option is there. There are many different dance styles used in each class, but the steps are simplified in order to make them easier to pick up and are designed for fun and fitness, rather than dance technique.
What to wear: comfortable stretchy clothing and sports shoes
What to bring: plenty of water and a work-out or hand towel
"I was keen to do something to improve my fitness and didn’t know where to start. A friend suggested I tried Zumba. Not being a dancer or fitness fanatic, I was hesitant, but took a chance and went along to a local Zumba class. I never looked back.
