People love stories because we have strong memories from childhood of having them read or told to us, or even making them up ourselves! But in this course, we take things a step further by using some modern presentation concepts, voice ideas and acting skills to tell stories that will enhance your message and help you gain authority at the front. If you're just beginning your speaking career, or you've been speaking to groups for a while, this short course will be a good investment in you.

Agenda:
Rapport with your audience
Voice, body language and your message
Starting, ending and what goes in the middle of a presentation
Skills from acting
Body language - its importance and effects
The stage - how and where to move or stand

Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Boost their confidence in front of others by tapping into more of their abilities
Create a presentation that includes stories
Begin a presentation with more impact
Augment their presentations using acting skills, voice and body language
